Yanni Anastos: Fine Line - Physical Rehabilitation

I am a doctor of physical therapy (DPT). Ι have been practicing for 5 years and I am 33 years old. I was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago. My roots derive from the states of Arcadia and Achaea in the Peloponnese of Greece. My grandparents of my father’s side are from the villages Melissopetra and Panagia, and my grandparents of my mother’s side are from the villages of Paloumba and Agio Nikolaos.

As a Greek, I am proud of our deep rooted history of toughness, bravery, intelligence, language, love, generosity, free thinking, as well as passionate expression. I believe all of these qualities make us Greek and one of the most unique people of this world.

I currently work at an outpatient clinic in the city of Chicago. However, in May of 2023, I decided to take the plunge and open up my own private practice located in Park Ridge, Illinois. As a physical therapist, my background is in orthopedics.

I specialize in treating pain at any joint, muscle, tendon, or bone, as well as patients who have undergone any type of orthopedic surgery. I also work with symptoms of dizziness, as well as balance disorders. The name of our clinic is “Fine Line Physical Rehabilitation and Fitness.”

We are a physical rehabilitation and fitness clinic with the mission of restoring mobility through physical rehabilitation and promoting physical activity as a lifestyle to prevent functional decline.

Currently, we are offering physical therapy, personal training, and two forms of regenerative medicine: “radial shockwave,” and “EMTT.” Both serve to speed up the healing process of the bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments and may even serve as an alternative option to surgery!
